The dolphin, nicknamed Zafar, has been entertaining children near the Breton city of Brest and swimming with bathers and kayakers. He would swim up alongside boats.

According to Le Telegramme website, the dolphin had not been aggressive but had rubbed up against boats and swimmers alike, even in shallow waters.

But those halcyon days couldn't last forever.

The dolphin began acting more aggressively, reportedly confronting several tourists in an obvious state of arousal.

A seaside village in Brittany has banned swimming on its beach because a dolphin has been scaring tourists and locals by trying to rub up against them.

Harry Kane hails 'massive' Tottenham Hotspur win at Old Trafford
Against Tottenham, Mourinho's team fell apart in the second half after falling behind to Harry Kane's 50th-minute goal. As Mourinho walked away from the presser, he called out, "Respect, please". "Do you know what this means? 3-0".

The dolphin has even tried to prevent several swimmers from getting back to the beach at Landévennec, using its nose to push one woman out of the water and up into the air.

A local lawyer who specializes in environmental rights, Erwan Le Cornec, does not agree with the halt and threatens to take legal action against the ban.

In the Bay of Brest, a bottlenose dolphin has become far too excited.

Mr Lars, mayor of Landévennec, has made a decision to ban swimming when the dolphin's presence has been confirmed. He told another local paper, Ouest-France: "Several bathers were really afraid". Last month, a swimmer needed to be rescued when Zafar wouldn't let her return to the shore.

"With this decree the mayor is trying to make out that the dolphin is nearly like a ferocious beast, something that is completely unpredictable, able to drown people". "If you were to apply these rules across the board, whenever a pedestrian approaches a dog all the mayors in France should issue bylaws banning pedestrians in town".
