Splinter Cell Blacklist and Double Agent Now Compatible with Xbox One

This week, two Xbox 360 installments in Ubisoft's Splinter Cell series have been added to the growing backwards compatibility library-Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

With almost 500 games now backward compatible with Xbox One the system will one day play all Xbox 360 games. Anyway, those of you who still own the digital versions or physical discs can play both games right away on Xbox One.

The news of these games being backwards compatible was first announced by Larry Hryb, Xbox's Major Nelson.

He retook control in Joe Gibbs Racing's No. 20 vehicle , going low to beat Justin Allgaier - the victor of the June race at Iowa. The only quibble with all this success? "I've screwed it up here a lot", said Harvick, who could pin this screw up on his team.

Double Agent was released in 2006 on PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, GameCube and Wii, while Blacklist hit PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U in 2013. It isn't a return to form after Conviction (which I still think is one of the best Splinter Cell titles), but offering more than one option through each level does make for some creative stealth moments. Michael Ironside, the original voice of Sam Fisher, was not the voice of Fisher in Blacklist so that could be a downer for many fans.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent brings back Sam Fisher for an enemy unlike any he's faced before.
