The coffee chain announced that it is introducing its new Protein Blended Cold Brew in the almond and cacao flavor on Tuesday.

The drink is offered in Almond and Cacao flavors and will be available while supplies last. "This beverage is inspired by our customers' love for Starbucks Cold Brew and a growing interest in plant-based proteins", the company wrote in a news release. The 16-ounce grande size drinks are made up of cold brew coffee, coconut or almond milk, and pea and brown-rice protein. Cacao Protein Blended Cold Brew has 10 grams of plant-based protein.

Earlier this year the company's COO Rosalind Brewer hinted at the company's forthcoming shift, saying at the annual shareholders meeting that more vegan and dairy-free options top the list of requests the company receives from its customers.

The trailer hints at a larger Marvel universe with new looks at Avengers Tower, Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, and Oscorp Industries.

Just like other favorite beverages at the coffee chain, the new protein blended drinks, which will allow customers to skip reverting to Popeye antics of eating spinach from the can, are customizable in more than 170,000 ways.

The Cacao beverage is blended with Cold Brew, coconutmilk, plant-based protein, cacao powder, banana date fruit blend and ice.

Starbucks says it will also add more teas to its menu and plans on pivoting more toward the popular wellness trends a la Gwyneth Paltrow's goop and LA's Moon Juice.
