'The Flash' Season 5: First Look at Barry's New Super Suit

"First OFFICIAL look at Barry's new threads for season 5", the Flash star said in a Friday evening Instagram post, sharing the full image seen below.

"After outthinking The Thinker, you'd hope that Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) might have some down time to contemplate his future with his new wife, Iris (Candice Patton)". "Was given the "ok" to give you guys a little bonus sneak peek". I took this shot late last night during our night shoot.

"I'm happy with my body and who I am and other kids who are built like me and thinner than me should be able to feel the same way", the post reads. "I truly love this suit".

It's not really worth bringing in physics when talking about a superhero who can run extremely fast thanks to a bolt of lightning, but this suit also looks like something that an actual athlete would wear, as it would be more useful for sprinting than the leather one. Gustin definitely seems to prefer it, too, going by his caption.

Mexico says working hard with U.S. on new NAFTA auto rules
Mexico views the clause as redundant because any of the partners already can withdraw from NAFTA after giving six months' notice. North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) negotiations with Mexico are going "as well as we can possibly expect right now".

Grant dubbed the unofficial photo a "bulls-t photo leak", defending the suit and his appearance after he was accused of being "too thin". We'll get there. As far as the body shaming. Some things need work and they will be worked on. "I've had my own journey of accepting it".

"I do my best to stay in shape and add as much size as I can through out these seasons. But there's a double standard where it's ok to talk shit about a dudes body". I'm naturally thin, and my appetite is greatly affected by stress.

The Flash opens Season 5 on October 9, again airing Tuesdays at 8/7c (leading into Black Lightning).
