GETTY Zaha has rejected a new contract to hopefully force a move to Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur are plotting £45million move to make Crystal Palace forward, Wilfried Zaha their first summer signing.

The summer transfer window is in full swing and managers are working hard on their transfer targets so we'll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. One major club that has not made any signings so far are Tottenham Hotspur, the Premier League side has qualified to play in the Champions League in the following term but has not added any re-enforcements as of yet.

Zaha may well have been open to a move to Tottenham, but Palace's asking price of at least £70m will have put off Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who is famous for his lowballing in the transfer market.

And now Chelsea are willing to pay him considerably more in order to tempt him to Stamford Bridge.

Colin Kaepernick's name edited out of video game soundtrack, sparks apology
Unfortunately for Colin Kaepernick fans, the superstar was cut from the game's song, which has left mixed reactions as a result. The words in that verse are supposed to say, "Feed me to the wolves now I lead the pack and s--".

The Ivory Coast worldwide was even awarded Player of the Year by Crystal Palace supporters - for a record third successive season.

His post-match interview after Palace's pre-season friendly against Reading - in which he scored twice and got himself an assist - would also suggest that he is happy to stay at Selhurst Park and raring to go for the season ahead.

Zaha came through the ranks at Crystal Palace but suffered an underwhelming two seasons at Old Trafford with Manchester United.

Palace have rejected Chelsea's offer but it looks like Tottenham are ready to hijack their move as the Sun claims Spurs are set to submit an improved offer worth £45m including additional add-ons plus a massive sell-on clause.
