Ubisoft Have Published A New Trailer, Demo And The Release Date For The Upcoming Transference

Check out the full demo for Transference below.

As Gamescom 2018 kicks off it seems that Ubisoft are already getting their announcements out ahead of the rest by releasing a new trailer, the release date and a demo for their upcoming virtual reality (VR) title, Transference.

Imagine an escape room set in a deranged mind. The theoretical phenomenon posits that a person unconsciously directs feelings about someone onto someone else. Still, this should give you a good idea as to the tone and vibe that Transference is going for.

Trump administration moves to relax coal pollution rules
Trump's EPA says its replacement would be cheaper too, costing some $400 million less each year than Obama's carbon dioxide curbs. The EPA must take comment on the proposal for the next 60 days, and environmental groups are sure to fight it.

"We're thrilled to provide players the opportunity to download and experience the free prequel Walter Test Case demo beginning today, which will provide the first hands-on experience with the Transference universe, diving into the experiment that started it all", said Transference producer Kévin Racapé. Bridging the gap between movies and games, we invite you to lose yourself in the destructive tale of a man's obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories.

The game's visuals are impressively striking as objects glitch in and out of place creating an immediately unsettling atmosphere. The demo reminded me of both Layers of Fear and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice in the way that certain characteristics of mental illnesses are played with and represented visually while also utilized as part of the game's puzzle mechanics.

The demo lets players switch between "multiple perspectives" and is available in VR and non-VR. Players will need to shift between three perspectives to uncover the mystery of the mind-bending psychological thriller.
