Trump Calls Omarosa 'A Lowlife' After N-Word Claim Surfaces

Her dramatic divorce from a man she likens to a cult leader is the subject of a salacious, self-serving, mostly unverifiable account of her West Wing tenure, "Unhinged: An Insiders Account of the Trump White House" (Gallery Books, 330 pages).

Manigault Newman served as the director of communications for the White House's Office of Public Liaison and claims chief of staff John Kelly fired her because she was close to getting audio of Trump using the racial slur. In the interview, LeBron said that Trump was trying to create division through sports Omarosa updated his statement with a PR savviness that only a reality TV star turned politician could truly possess. In her book, Manigault Newman also says the former Apprentice host showed signs of a "mental decline that could not be denied" and added that he "loved conflict, chaos and confusion; he loved seeing people argue or fight".

"It had finally sunk in that the person I'd thought I'd known so well for so long was actually a racist", she wrote, according to The Guardian. "Just think how many copies I'd sell - maybe a commemorative inauguration copy?"

Newman was once a vocal supporter of the president but has been fiercely critical of him in the months since she left the White House.

German police save man from baby squirrel terror
She said the animals could be "very persistent, not just running behind someone, but entirely fixated on them". But the man's call to officers in Karlsruhe was in fact genuine, and he was being chased by a baby squirrel .

Chait points to the a Politico story in which White House staffers say they are unwilling to take her on. But reports immediately surfaced that the former reality-TV star was sacked for abusing her position and had to be physically removed from the premises.

That goes double for the more outlandish claims in the book, such as the claim that Trump brought a tanning bed into the White House, an episode where Trump allegedly ate a piece of paper after a meeting and Trump's purported racist comments aimed at Kellyanne Conway's half-Filipino husband.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders criticized Unhinged as "riddled with lies and false accusations".
