Trump Makes Good On Threat To Revoke Brennan’s Clearance Former CIA director John Brennan

"I don't know what it is that is behind that, but I think that's why it's critically important that Bob Mueller and his investigators be allowed to continue their work unimpeded by Mr. Trump or anyone else in the administration". Since leaving their positions, all have become household names for their public opposition to Trump. The Omarosa thing doesn't hurt Trump, really; if Trump needed Brennan as a "distraction" he would have saved this for truly meaningful bad news, like a poor jobs report. "Not only were Trump's comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin". The White House later released a new version without the date. "Is John Brennan making millions of dollars divulging secrets to the mainstream media with his attacks on @realDonaldTrump?" he queried on Twitter last month.

Trump, his statement read by his press secretary, accused Brennan of having "leveraged his status as a former high-ranking official with access to highly sensitive information to make a series of unfounded and outrageous allegations, wild outbursts on the internet and television about this administration".

"The president has a constitutional responsibility to protect classified information and who has access to it, and that's what he's doing is fulfilling that responsibility in this action", Sanders said Wednesday. One of Brennan's major concerns at this point has to be whether the "honor-among-thieves" ethos will prevail, or whether some or all of his former partners in crime will latch onto the opportunity to "confess" to investigators: "Brennan made me do it".

A day after the former Central Intelligence Agency director fired off a tweet criticizing President Trump for calling Omarosa Manigault Newman a "dog", the White House said Trump revoked the security clearance for John Brennan.

Brennan continued that criticism on Wednesday.

Brennan will fight hard to avoid being put on trial but will need united support from from his Deep State co-conspirators - a dubious proposition.

Worker dies after falling into vat of oil near amusement park
We're all deeply saddened by the loss of this coworker. "We are in shock and grief, and figuring out what happened". Reedy Creek Fire Department is said to have responded and assisted with the recovery of the victim.

"Revoking my security clearances is his way of trying to get back at me", Brennan added. If you were looking for reasons to punish him symbolically by revoking his clearance, there's no shortage of professional failings to cite.

"When they had these security clearances. they didn't stop the Russians, they didn't stop the Red Chinese [or the] Iranians", he said.

Trump said, because of the Russian Federation investigation, revoking Brennan's security clearance was "something that had to be done".

Trump says he is reviewing security clearances for nine other individuals: James Clapper, James Comey, Michael Hayden, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr.

But Trump's assertion to The Wall Street Journal's Peter Nicholas and Michael C. Bender on Wednesday night resembles a similar admission Trump made to NBC News' Lester Holt in May 2017, days after he fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey. They've all betrayed the American people with a political agenda. He is the only current government employee on the list.
