The Ivory Coast global has now put to bed any doubt over his future by signing a deal at Selhurst Park which will keep him at the club until 2023.

Tottenham Hotspur have been long-term admirers of Crystal Palace wide-man Wilfried Zaha.

The forward has now committed his future until 2023 with a new five-year contract, which is reported to be worth £130,000-a-week.

Speculation was rife over the summer that the Ivory Coast global was on his way out of Palace with the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea keenly interested.

"I'm very pleased", Zaha said.

Also named was Profinet director general Vasili Aleksandrovich Kolchanov, whom the Treasury said "was personally involved" in deals with the North Koreans.

Zaha - who spent a season at Manchester United in 2013-14 before returning to Palace - has been hotly tipped with an exit from Roy Hodgson's side for some time given his superb form over the last 12 months. "I'm buzzing that we managed to get it sorted".

Zaha, who played a pivotal role in Palace retaining their place in the elite last term scoring nine goals as they recovered after a woeful start to the season, said he was delighted to have the contract discussions out of the way.

He eventually returned to Palace for a second loan spell in 2014 and, after signing permanently the following February, has gone on to become the club's joint-highest scorer in Premier League history on 23 alongside Chris Armstrong.

"This agreement is yet another example of his lifelong commitment to the club, and our commitment to him".
