Woods-Mickelson set for November PPV match

The duo, who have 19 major championship titles between them, will face-off in the 18-hole event at Shadow Creek Golf Course on either 23/24 November. The match was initially reported to be a $10 million, winner-take-all event, but Woods' tweet seems to indicate that the victor will walk away with $9 million.

Woods' Twitter announcement comes in the afternoon on a day when Mickelson joined the social media platform ... which we're sure is a total coincidence (*wink*).

WarnerMedia says it has secured the rights for a pay-per-view event it is promoting as "The Match".

"The iconic Tiger Woods and five-time Major Champion Phil Mickelson are generational talents who have transcended the game of golf and their rivalry continues to be one of the most compelling in sports", said David Levy, President of Turner. "This one-of-a-kind, winner-take-all matchup provides a great opportunity to show fans the benefits of AT&T and WarnerMedia coming together".

Idris Elba Addresses James Bond Rumors During "Yardie" Premiere
Asked by Good Morning Britain if he would prefer his Martini shaken or stirred, he replied: "Stir-fried, actually". Daniel Craig has played James Bond for four films now, Casino Royale , Quantum of Solace , Skyfall , and Spectre .

· Bleacher Report and its wildly-popular House of Highlights, which recently surpassed 10 million followers on Instagram, will offer comprehensive highlights and behind-the-scenes content.

Mickelson said the format would be match play, and details are being worked out that would allow for various challenges during the match, such as longest drive, closest to the hole, longest putt and closest out of a bunker.

Turner International will facilitate distribution of live PPV access to the event for those living outside of the United States. "No matter how much money you have, this amount will take both of us out of our comfort zone".

The match play duel between the two veterans, a head-to-head meeting that has been mooted repeatedly over the years, will be screened on pay-per-view.
