The Redmi Note 5 Pro starts at Rs 14,999 in the country despite the fact that it was initially launched at a starting price of Rs 13,999. The all-new Mi A2 along with Mi A2 Lite was officially unveiled last month in Madrid.

The design, AI-powered cameras, and performance are some of the highlights of the phone. As of now, this device runs Android 8.1 Oreo and will get Android 9 Pie update as it belongs to the Android One program.

Xiaomi Mi A2, the second generation of the highest selling Android One smartphone, launched yesterday.

DirectD revealed today that Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 will now be priced at RM869 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with the base model 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant coming in at just RM699 now. It goes on sale on August 16. Xiaomi said that the device will be available on Mi.com, Amazon.in and Mi Home offline stores. The Find X has a attractive glass body with a motorized camera module. Under the hood is the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform featuring Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU. On the other hand, the phone carries a 20MP front camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). Though there is a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the device can also be unlocked using the face unlock feature. The display has Full HD+ 1080×2160 resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is expected to be launched with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128/256GB storage options. Both the camera sensors at the rear have a f/1.8 aperture.

For connectivity, the phone comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C for data syncing and charging, IR blaster and other basic connectivity features. Doing away with the screen notch, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera module that pops out on top. The phone comes in two variants: NEX A and NEX S - we expect Vivo to only launch the topend NEX S in India because they're gunning for the premium market. It supports Quick Charge 4+ standard, but you'll have to buy a supported charger separately. Though the major specifications of the handset are already known, Indian gadget buyers will be looking out for the Xiaomi Mi A2 price in India.

In the optics department, the Mi A2 features a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor having 1.25 micron pixel size and a secondary 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor for portrait pictures.
