So if avocados are already a budget line-item for you - or you'd like them to be - this could be the ideal side hustle.

The six-month study, which started enrollment in June, aims to look at whether eating an avocado daily could decrease body fat, according to Tufts University's nutrition research center website. You also must be at least 25 years old and either 40 inches around the waist if you're a man or 35 inches around the waste if you are a woman.

But hey, if you're selected as a subject, you'll receive $300 at the end of the study.

Participants will be given a free MRI and health screening and asked to attend a monthly meeting with a dietician. Most importantly, to have the strength to eat it every day for 6 months. Participants also can't have a known chronic disease, or be pregnant, lactating, or planning to become pregnant.

One medium-sized avocado contains about 322 calories, 29 grams of fat, and 13 grams of fiber.

Avocados are known to be rich in fats that are good for the heart.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan took to the podium to announce a proposal to rename the city's waterfront Chene Park after Franklin. And Victorie Franklin said that "the best feeling in the world" was hearing her grandmother sing.

Once the study has been completed, each person who participated will be paid $US300 and the members of the control group will be gifted 24 avocados. Carrots have carotene in them, which the avocado will help you to absorb. They don't specify how your avocado might per chance well maybe merely tranquil be consumed, so edifying factor in all these day after day doses of guacamole.

Researchers want to find out if eating avocados actually promotes weight loss.

Once all the data has been collected, it'll be sent to Wake Forest University for final analysis.

As no surprise, the study is funded by the Hass Avocado Board and they are likely hoping the outcome of this study will put their fruit in a favorable light.
