On Wednesday's America's Got Talent live finale, after competing since May the top ten was trimmed down to just two remaining acts before a victor was finally announced by host, Tyra Banks. "We are watching a superstar in the making right here on America's Got Talent".

Tyra then told her: "You are wonderful". The season 13 finale will be a real treat!

Simon Cowell called her a "trendsetter" and fellow judge Howie Mandel said she was a "superstar in the making".

Magician Shin Lim came out on top for Season 13, beating out the likes of violinist Brian King Joseph; singer Daniel Emmet; trapeze act Duo Transcend; singer Courtney Hadwin; comedian Samuel J. Comroe; singer Glennis Grace; singer Michael Ketterer; dance group Zurcaroh; and comedian Vicki Barbolak. He won the $1 million prize along with his own Las Vegas show, where he'll try to stun people the way he did earlier in the night with the American Ninja Warrior hosts, Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila.

The finale airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.

According to Courtney's grandfather, the singer, who busked on the streets of London and NY to fund singing lessons, chose to enter America's Got Talent instead of the British version.

'To compete on AGT, it means the world to me'.

Another of the judges, Mel B, described Courtney as a "free bird" saying she was "wild and crazy".
