The incident resulted in Ryan, who apologised and said there was no malice intended, being given a formal warning.

Ryan then moved towards Roxanne and tried to comfort her but she pulled away and left the kitchen.

When he was asked further about how he feels about Pallett, Jardine said: "All I'll say is she's a lovely girl, she does what she does".

'I can't sleep. I'm now suffering and I have to alter my experience because of someone else's actions'.

Fans of the show were incensed following Thursday's (30Aug18) episode, in which the actress accused Corrie actor Ryan of punching her "repeatedly, unprovoked, deliberately" during what appeared to be a play fight.

Since both stars entered the house, Daily Star revealed they had been embroiled in a ten year feud after Ryan demanded Roxanne swap her outfit for an awards bash after realising one of his co-stars was wearing the same one.

The former TOWIE star additionally posted a photo of her and her beau to Instagram, captioned: "The kindest person I know (heart emoji)".

Earlier in the episode, ex-banker Nick Leeson was talking to Ryan about Roxanne, saying that she "tries too hard all the time" for the cameras.

However the vast majority of viewers felt Roxanne overreacted to Ryan's play fighting, with many even calling for her to be removed from the house.

Domestic abuse victim and former Miss Great Britain, Danielle Lloyd, accused Pallett of "making a mockery of women who have actually been terrified in violent relationships".

Her tweet garnered over 1000 retweets in just five minutes, while Ryan's brother Scott also let his thoughts be known, as he wrote: 'I have now seen it all!
