Cathay Pacific's seen the amusing side after painters spelled its name wrong on one of the fleet's Boeings.

Republishing the photos from the Hong Kong Aviation Discussion Board (HKADB) on the airline's Twitter page, Cathay Pacific wrote: "Oops this special livery won't last long! She's going back to the shop!" the company joked on Twitter.

In response, many social media users praised the company's public relations team for their approach.

Read the Letter From Christine Blasey Ford Requesting an FBI Investigation
She claims that an intoxicated Kavanaugh pinned her down during a party in Marlyand and attempted to remove her clothing. Scaramella hopes that when Ford testifies, "we can believe that people who are victimized have real harm done to them".

And although the airlines believes it was down to a mistake, an engineer for Haeco - Cathay Pacific's sister company - isn't convinced.

Aghiad Haloul replied: "No f's were given that day". Missing from the word "Pacific", per the BBC: the letter "f", which prompted "no one gives an f" jokes online.

Hong Kong-based newspaper South China Morning Post reported that the error was likely to be expensive, costing several thousand dollars to fix.

'We have stencils. Should be a blank gap in between letters if it was a real mistake I think'.
