Do you remember when Danny Ainge said the Timberwolves gave up too much for Jimmy Butler

On Friday, Timberwolves guard/forward Jimmy Butler requested a trade out of Minnesota. So steep, in fact, that some teams are questioning whether head coach and president of basketball operations Tom Thibodeau actually wants to work out a trade. Teams believe Thibodeau is making counterproposals that he knows franchises will never accept, according to the report. Now, Thibodeau is listening to offers on Butler, but there's just one problem: Some teams think he's being unreasonable on objective.

The New York Times' Marc Stein tweeted that South Beach is Butler's preferred destination.

Reports have indicated that Miami has been aggressive in negotiations since Butler announced his desire to be traded, even as he left the Heat off his initial list.

Until something does happen with Butler though, all focus will remain on training camp in Hawaii, where the Clippers will face off against the Sydney Kings on Sunday, September 30.

Ryanair cancels 190 flights this week amid cabin crew strike
Such actions with the participation of pilots and flight attendants of the Irish airline continues for more than a year. The budget airline said nearly 200 flights have been cancelled on Friday due to a walkout by cabin crew across Europe.

A trade to Miami would reunite Butler with Dwyane Wade, with whom he was teammates and close friends with for one year in Chicago. Miami, however, has found it hard to get Minnesota to "clearly communicate".

It's unclear if the Heat will be willing to part with Richardson in order to get Butler, who is entering the final season of his contract and could sign elsewhere next summer.

Butler is set to earn just over $19 million next season. Of the teams reportedly still targeting Butler are the Cavs, as well as the Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets, with a handful of teams having also gauged interest with Minnesota regarding a possible deal.
