Geragos was asked by TMZ if his client was keeping abreast of National Football League action this season, to which he responded "Yes" without divulging too many of Colin Kaepernick's safely guarded secrets.

However, it appears that Kaepernick could be soon back in the NFL as he attorney, Mark Geragos, hinted to TMZ Sports that Kaepernick could have a new deal in place to be back in the league with possibly the Oakland Raiders or New England Patriots. "I would just say, "Stay tuned" ... that next week there may be some news", Geragos responded when asked if his client would be playing this season. Instead, the attorney, Mark Geragos, dropped a few oh so obvious hints, the first of which invoked the late Al Davis, the longtime owner of the Raiders franchise.

When TMZ asked if Geragos had heard rapper Meek Mill was working on a song about Kaepernick, Geragos asked, "You know who Meek Mill was visited by when he was in custody?" Jon Gruden said in March that he was "surprised" that Kaepernick still didn't have a job.

To this point, it remains unknown as to how the McCarron situation is going for the Raiders, but it's hard to envision there being much confidence around it.

It's just good to have him. "I don't mean that with any negativity - we're delighted because we know his class better than most". He was denied a second for offside in the 89th minute after Mario Lamina had cleared James Milner's shot off the line.

Days after the New England Patriots brought in troubled talent Josh Gordon, the team has been linked to another controversial player: Colin Kaepernick. However, landing with a team this season would vastly improve the former San Francisco 49ers' chances of reaching the field next season.

Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick are reportedly Trump supporters, and star quarterback Tom Brady is friendly with the president.

Regardless of where he ends up, signing Kaepernick has a now undeniably positive impact on the receiving team.
