Court Nominee Kavanaugh Is Victim of `MeToo' Fervor, Conway Says

Combat won out over caution.

Michael Avenatti, best known as the attorney for former adult film actress Stormy Daniels, announced Sunday that he is representing a third woman "with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh".

Author Ronan Farrow is standing by his bombshell New Yorker story of another sexual assault alleged against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh after a report from The New York Times cast doubt on it.

The committee should hear as planned on Thursday from Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a party when they were teenagers, Hatch said.

On Kavanaugh, Trump stressed: "I am with him all the way".

Deborah Ramirez, a classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh at Yale, is accusing him of exposing himself to her at a college party, and, at the goading of his friends, thrusting his penis into her face to laughter and calls of "kiss it". Kavanaugh denies the accusation.

On Monday, Trump decried the allegations.

She said on CBS "This Morning" that the allegations against Kavanaugh, now by a second woman, sound like a "vast left-wing conspiracy".

The White House was dismissive of the new allegations in a statement: "This 35-year-old, uncorroborated claim is the latest in a coordinated smear campaign by the Democrats created to tear down a good man". Conway during her interview urged Ramirez to contact the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about that accusation.

"Yet again, Senate Democrats actively withheld information from the rest of the committee only to drop information at politically opportune moments", Mr. Foy said.

That reflected a growing sentiment in the West Wing: that delays in the process have allowed more time to produce additional politically motivated decades-old allegations meant to sully Kavanaugh's reputation, the official said.

A woman who studied at Yale with Kavanaugh told The New Yorker in an article Sunday that the federal appeals court judge sexually assaulted her at a college party in the 1980s. The Democrats then began investigating.

Kingsman 3 to arrive next year
Exhibitor Relations reported today that not only will there be a Kingsman 3 but that it will be arriving as soon as next year. If the November 8 date sounds familiar, it's because it was date that the next Jame Bond movie was scheduled to be released.

The Associated Press tried reaching Ramirez at her home in Boulder, Colorado.

Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee were notified of Ramirez's claims, and Ramirez and Democrats are now calling for an FBI investigation.

"I just don't think one man's shoulders should bear decades of the #metoo movement", she said, using the popular name for the wave of women who have shared stories of being victims of sexual assault and misconduct, particularly in the workplace.

Kavanaugh's nomination hangs precariously.

A handful of senators in both parties remain undecided on Kavanaugh's nomination. Defections among Republicans would likely block his path to the Supreme Court. Senior Republican staffers are also aware of the allegation.

Lawyers for Ms Ford and bipartisan representatives of the committee came to the tentative agreement after a short phone call, said one of the people. "The last minute character assassination will not succeed", Kavanaugh wrote.

Earlier Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said lawyers for Ford were contesting two GOP conditions - that Ford and Kavanaugh would be the only witnesses and that an independent counsel would ask the questions.

Kavanaugh plans to turn over to the committee personal calendars from the summer of 1982. "Ramirez said that she hoped her story would support that of Christine Blasey Ford", the New Yorker added.

"They're accountable for not stopping this", she said of her other classmates present.

Both Prof Ford and Mr Kavanaugh and his wife have reportedly received violent threats since the allegations came to light.
