Drake was forced to cancel two of his concerts in Miami on Friday and Saturday (September 21 & 22), and now he's explaining what happened.

The rapper said, unlike previous postponed shows on the Aubrey & The Three Amigos Tour, this weekend's Miami shows were cancelled because he got sick, not because of technical difficulties. Production issues were cited as the reason the shows had to be pushed back but Drizzy has since offered another reason.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am about these two Miami shows.

In addition to sharing the reason for the cancellations, Drake hinted that he had to stay in the hospital by thanking the staff. "Thank you to the two doctors and nurse that helped me with round the clock care", he continued.

He says he had never before experienced a sickness that came on so quickly.

Drake promises Miami will get 100% out of him when he returns.

He then expresses gratitude to the man upstairs, saying, "Thank you God for allowing me to recover and continue".

In an Instagram post, Drake also apologized to his fans for letting them down.

Drake's cancelled Miami shows have been rescheduled for November 13 and 14.

In August, the first of three Toronto concerts was postponed less than 24 hours before the show.
