Fall out from Kaepernick Nike ad continues

The senior pastor at a Baptist church in Mobile, Ala., cut up his Nike gear during a sermon this week to protest the company's partnership with Colin Kaepernick. He was greeted by cheers, laughs and eventually, what appeared to be, a standing ovation from his congregation.

Strahan's interview comes just a week after Nike announced that Kaepernick was the main feature in their 30th anniversary "Just Do It" campaign.

In a memo sent last Wednesday, the mayor of Kenner wrote to Chad Pitfield, the director of the city's recreation department, instructing him to not buy any Nike products.

"I also would have been proactive in getting it more organized", Strahan said. "He's inked a contract with Nike".

Strahan went on to explain that Kaepernick's protest isn't about the National Anthem or the flag, as many critics have argued. "But you know, I don't know - I think I would have". "I know there are a number of high schools and colleges who are dropping Nike". I think I would have. It's a ground swell.

Spider-Man PS4 Pays Tribute to Sam Raimi's Movie Trilogy
Since Tyler asked Insomniac to put the message into the game, he and his partner have since split in a dramatic fashion. As you have already noticed, in Spider-Man: New Generation there is no question of a single super-hero, but several.

"Effective immediately, all purchases made by any booster club operating at any Kenner Recreation Facility for wearing apparel, shoes, athletic equipment, and/or any athletic product must be approved by the Director of Parks and Recreation, or his designee", his letter read.

Perhaps you prepared to see a faith leader doing that in a house of worship. Perhaps I am in the minority in being surprised by such an action.

Several players have expressed frustration that the point of the protests has been lost amid a torrent of criticism, by Trump and others, that those engaging in them are disrespecting the flag and the sacrifices of military veterans.

Jerry Falwell, Jr., president of Liberty University, told USA Today they are looking at their relationship with Nike.
