In the first look Brie Larson can be seen all suited-up.

EW dropped the first official images from the Captain Marvel movie today, and one of them was the debut of what the MCU's Skrulls are all about.

"This is not a superhero who's flawless or otherworldly or has some godlike connection", says Boden, who's the MCU's first female director. Larson dons the iconic costume on the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, which was unveiled Wednesday. He's already made his way to what looks like a bustling city and, if you know your comics, you know a Skrull invasion spells bad news for everyone as they can take on the form of anyone - even your favourite Avengers - and no one would know the difference for years and years.

"Avengers: Infinity War" ended with Nick Fury making a call right before he was snapped. They're strolling in from the ocean, which makes us wonder if they crashed a ship, arrived via submarine, or were just taking a leisurely swim before getting their asses kicked by Captain Marvel.

Unlike all of Marvel's other solo superhero movies, Captain Marvel isn't exactly about a person learning how to become heroic, but rather about its titular hero discovering just who and what she really is.

Amazon India Gets Hindi Language Support on Android App, Mobile Web
According to Thota, Amazon India has an internal team called "Reach", which is working on how to tap the next million users. The country's e-commerce market is tipped to grow to $ 200 billion in a decade, according to Morgan Stanley.

Captain Marvel is set to hit theatres on March 8, 2019. It's 2018 and we've already seen endless superhero origin stories (with Venom being criticized in some corners for retreading overly familiar narrative ground), so I'm sure we can pick up Danvers' past as we go. Jude Law plays the commander of the Kree's elite military team, Starforce. It will feature a de-aged Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). An all-star collective of accomplished writers penned the screenplay, including Meg LeFauve (Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur), Nicole Perlman (First Man, Guardians of the Galaxy), Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Tomb Raider, upcoming Sherlock Holmes 3), Liz Flahive & Carly Mensch (Glow), and Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck.

The film has Larson playing Carol Danvers, a 1990s Air Force pilot.

Fans of Infinity War are also probably wondering how Captain Marvel fits into The Avengers 4 as Brie Larson is confirmed for the sequel.

Of course, Captain Marvel isn't entirely earthbound.

See more photos from the film, including shots of Law, Mendelsohn, a youthful Jackson and MCU veterans Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou, below. Carol then finds herself back on Earth where she's going to have to face an alien threat, the Skrulls, which are attacking Earth - Ben Mendelsohn will play Talos, their leader.
