The Fortnite developer hasn't released many details about the upcoming competition, and so far we only know its prize pool and its name.

As you may have noticed, it's gone 12 but there are no patch notes to speak off.

Original Story - Fortnite Battle Royale and Save the World players should be all set to receive a brand new update later today as Epic Games looks to roll out a v5.40 Content Update.

The Fortnite Drum Gun was initially introduced back in the Fortnite 4.50 Content Update.

So plenty of disruption should be expected this morning until Epic Games complete all the updates they have planned.

Before the 5.40 content update goes live, Epic will deploy a separate client update for Fortnite that addresses a handful of unspecified issues. You'll find the latest weapon in Vending Machines, Treasures Chests and Supply Drops, as well as in floor loot.

Save the World is confirmed to be getting the 5.40.2 patch this morning, meaning this fix could be part of it.

On the "less running around but probably way more shouting" side of things, Hasbro shared the above image of Monopoly: Fortnite Edition, showing that it will draw directly from Battle Royale mode with locations like Paradise Palms, Snobby Shores, and Tilted Towers.
