Google Inbox is being discontinued

Now that the big Gmail redesign has arrived, Google is shedding some dead weight by retiring Inbox. Some of the best features in the new Gmail were in Inbox first, including smart replies, snoozing emails for later, and priority notifications. Google has already brought many features from Inbox over to Gmail, so one might say that it was inevitable that Google would kill off Inbox. Google was pretty adamant about the future of Inbox saying at that time that there's no reason users should be anxious, as the app is here to stay. Five months later, though, and Google looks to have changed its mind. It's a service many of us use every single day.

The arrival of these features in Gmail rightly spurred speculation that Inbox by Gmail would be retired. According to a transition guide Google has prepared to help Inbox users migrate over to the new Gmail app, the company says popular Inbox features that have been added to Gmail include the ability to snooze emails, which lets you postpone emails to a future date or time.

Russian Federation holds biggest military drills since Soviet era
Moscow has increased the number of its large-scale military exercises in the Caucasus, the Baltic and the Arctic in recent years. Russian Federation is preparing to hold its largest military drills in nearly 40 years beginning Tuesday in eastern Siberia.

What do you think about Google killing support for Inbox? Instead, Inbox was meant to provide Google with an active platform that would allow them to test new features in real-time. Whether that is going back to the Gmail app, or using a third-party app/service.
