Jane Fonda 'hates' that she felt she had to get plastic surgery

According to the long-time Hollywood star, she had bags under her eyes so she had work done to them as well as her jawline so she could feel more comfortable with her body.

She adds: 'I'm not going to lie about that'.

9 to 5 actress Jane Fonda may be 80, but she does not look a day over 50, something that Fonda herself has credited to plastic surgery, but in a recent HBO documentary about her life, titled Jane Fonda in Five Acts, she admitted to holding regrets regarding the procedures. And in one way, she hates that plastic surgery seemed like a necessity, but on the other, she's glad that she still manages to look good for her age.

"I got exhausted of looking exhausted when I wasn't", she explained.

Tired: The Klute star gave her reason for getting work done on her face saying: 'I got tired of looking tired when I wasn't'.

"There's a whole segment of the population who only knows her from the workout tape or who only knows her [as] Hanoi Jane, or who only knows her from Grace and Frankie", Jane Fonda in Five Acts director Susan Lacy told Yahoo Entertainment.
