If the November 8 date sounds familiar, it's because it was date that the next Jame Bond movie was scheduled to be released. Vaughn helmed the previous two movies, as well as the first Kick-Ass. However, the loss of director Danny Boyle last month meant that the Bond film has moved back to February 2020, with True Detective's Cary Fukanaga now directing.

Taron Egerton will reprise his role as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin, while Colin Firth, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges are also expected to return. The studio are said to be on the lookout for an actor to play new character Conrad, a young, cocky and charming son of a British Duke who hopes to serve his country in the First World War. In addition, Vaughn is also working on an eight-hour Kingsman TV show and another spin-off film focusing on the Statesman including Tatum, Berry, and Bridges.
