The man who called 911 is heard breaking down into tears, suggesting he knew the performer was in a dire state. According to TMZ, Miller had been dead for several hours before he was discovered unresponsive inside his Southern California home on September 7.

It's been nearly one week since Malcolm McCormick, better known as Mac Miller, died from an apparent drug overdose. Only a tiny amount of white powder was found when cops searched the home and law enforcement told TMZ that they believe the house was swept clean to hide evidence of drug use.

The call to the emergency services stated that the rapper wasn't breathing and was unresponsive.

TMZ has published some disturbing details about the scene of the death of Mac Miller, who reportedly overdosed earlier this month.

The footage was captured at a branch of the restaurant chain Xiabu Xiabu, in the city of Weifang in the eastern province of Shandong.

Mac's body was found at around noon on Friday, 7 September by a friend who then made the 911 call.

A statement from Miller's family last week said: 'Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26. Thank you for your prayers.

A cause of death has yet to officially be determined. Mac had struggled with substance abuse, previously admitting he battled an addiction to lean or purple drank - a mixture of promethazine and codeine.
