The police has ruled out the possibility that the incident was terror related.

London police say a man has been arrested at the visitors' entrance to Buckingham Palace carrying a firearm.

"A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm, namely a Taser".

He was released later that evening after police were satisfied he posed no threat.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported on Sunday that Gruden's scouting system has led to a "disconnect" inside the Raiders' building .

A Met spokesman said: "Officers are reminding visitors to the United Kingdom to ensure that any items that they are carrying comply with legislation in the UK".

London police said in a statement that visitors should be aware that small knives and Tasers can be considered offensive weapons in Britain.

The palace is one of the Queen's official homes, although she frequently spends time at her other residences.

The royal family members are now on their summer break, with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip staying at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
