Mariners reportedly involved in pre-game altercation with each other

Shortstop Jean Segura, catcher Mike Zunino and other players were involved in the skirmish. Prior to Tuesday's game against the Orioles, the M's asked the media to clear out from the clubhouse just moments before unknown players partook in a kerfuffle.

Dee Gordon initially asked media to leave what was an open clubhouse before the doors were locked.

The Mariners have gone through a rough few months.

The Seattle Mariners were in first place as recently as August and owned an 11-game lead over the Oakland Athletics in June. The Mariners are 77-62 and 5-1/2 games behind the A's in the chase for the second American League wild-card spot.

Roxanne Pallett says she is ‘most hated girl in Britain’
Roxanne replied: "Watching it feels like a completely different scenario to what it felt at the time". I am crippled with emotion and shame, that I would have put someone in that position.

There's no telling what set off the whole mess, or whether it was even baseball-related.

Specifics of the incident are unclear and could remain that way, but Mariners manager Scott Servais chalked it up to competitiveness reaching a fever pitch.

He continued: "I played for 11 years in the big leagues, it's nearly every year". It's unfortunate, but it happens. "Sometimes you kind of get to a boiling point and you got to get something off of your chest and you go from there". "Along the way, there are bumps in the road", he said.

Tensions boiled over in the Seattle Mariners' locker room Tuesday afternoon resulting in a heated, closed-door confrontation between multiple players.
