Simon Kinberg is writing and directing the film, marking his directorial debut. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is set to open in theaters on February 14, 2019. Given how poorly received "X-Men: Apocalypse" was and how it squandered one of the best villains in comic-book history, not to mention making Mystique into a hero purely to suit Jennifer Lawrence's rising star-power, nobody's going to be too broken up about X-Men coming under the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I think if we were to make a Dark Phoenix movie in the future, it would be a Dark Phoenix movie about her struggle, and really should be the A plot and the primary of the movie".

Keep an eye out for the trailer hitting the internet tonight to see how the latest installment of the X-Men franchise has in store for fans this Valentine's Day. But when should we expect it to arrive?

The first trailer for 20th Century Fox's X-Men: Dark Phoenix will air Wednesday evening during CBS' Late Late Show with James Corden. But let's try to narrow that down a little; after all, it's an hour-long show.

Nasal spray a recommended option for flu vaccination
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says flu season officially starts in October and lasts through March. The upcoming flu season is expected to be worse than last year's, which was one of the worst the US has seen in years.

Want more stuff like this? If it doesn't debut simultaneously online, it will shortly thereafter. But if you still wanted a bit of flavor for what the film will be like ahead of the trailer release, Fox has you covered. That was a shaky recording of what appeared to be an early, unfinished trailer - there were no titles or studio fanfare - so we'll have to scrutinize the footage to determine what, if any, changes were made.

Writer/director Kinberg then got to work penning some new material to fix things that Fox decided didn't work in its test screenings, and reshoots are still now underway on the 90s-set film, which reunites Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto on a mission to save Jean Grey (played here again by Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner) from a malevolent force.
