Chinese smartphone company Lenovo-Motorola on Monday launched its first Android One device ' Motorola One Power' in India for Rs 15,999.

It is Motorola's first mobile device to sport a notch. The smartphone comes at a price tag of Rs 16,999 and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Motorola also promises 3 years of timely security updates and two major software updates.

In terms of specifications and features, the Motorola One Power would be powered by Qualcomm mid-range focussed Snapdragon 636 system-on-chip (SoC), mated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Battery: The Motorola One Power gets a massive 5,000mAh battery that will deliver two days of battery life on a single charge. On the back is an f1.8 16MP primary camera and and 5MP secondary camera.

The two sides had already slapped tariffs on $50 billion worth of each other's goods. Beijing's new levies will be 5-10%.

Jio customers can get benefits up to Rs 4,450 (applicable on Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans) while purchasing the device.

The smartphone comes loaded with a host of interesting features and it is a first from Moto's camp to feature a notch. The Find X has a attractive glass body with a motorized camera module. The TurboCharge technology also powers this device as it comes with a 15W fast charger which will allow it to amass 6 hours of talk time with only 15 minutes of charging. Although it is too early to comment on the processing power of this device, the Snapdragon 636 chipset does give some good performance when it comes to daily use or multitasking. The display has a resolution of 2,246 x 1,080 pixels. The phone is expected to be launched with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128/256GB storage options. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of producing the ever-popular bokeh effects too. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB via the dedicated microSD card.

The Motorola One Power seems to have gotten everything right. It has a 6.59-inch amoled display giving it a screen to body ratio of 91%. In fact, a Google representative at the Indian launch said Android Pie would be coming to the device "as soon as October, and going forward". The other highlights include the 5000mAh battery as mentioned above. On the back, there is a dual camera module that looks completely different from existing modules seen in Moto-branded smartphones.
