A new trailer for The Girl in the Spider's Web is here, and it has Claire Foy spinning a whole new look. Check out The Girl in the Spider's Web trailer in the player below! Evil Dead (2008) and Don't Breathe director Fede Alvarez takes the helm for the new adaptation.

Instead, the studio opted to continue the franchise by adapting The Girl in the Spider's Web, the first novel from David Lagercrantz, who took over the book series after Larsson's death. The screenplay adaptation is by Steven Knight and Fede Alvarez & Jay Basu. Sverrir Gudnason steps in for Daniel Craig as Blomkvist, who we finally see in action for the first time in this new trailer.

The film also stars Sverrir Gudnason, Lakeith Stanfield, Claes Bang, Christopher Convery, Synnøve Macody Lund, and Vicky Krieps.

The Girl in the Spider's Web will be the first in the best-selling series to be produced into an English-language film in its initial adaptation.
