According to multiple reports, Donald and the Rams agreed to a six-year deal worth $134 million, including $87 million guaranteed. The record-setting deal makes Donald the highest-paid defensive player in National Football League history.

He has made the Pro Bowl in all four of his seasons and has been named a first team All-Pro in each of the past three. The 27-year-old is expected to play in the Rams' season opener against the Raiders on September 10, according to Schefter.

With the Raiders' regular season opener less than 10 days away, it's starting to look more and more like Khalil Mack isn't going to be on the field for the team's Week 1 game against the Rams. "We went through the bad, and now I want to go through the good with this organization".

Cola-Cola buys $5.1bn Costa for 'strong coffee platform'
Nestle joined the trend of coffee giants taking aim at smaller niche producers, buying Blue Bottle Coffee and Chameleon Cold Brew. The £3.9 billion figure put on the deal represents a multiple of more than 16 times Costa's expected full year earnings in 2018.

The Rams later announced the extension.

Los Angeles demonstrated its willingness to pay top dollar for talent in recent months while agreeing to lucrative long-term deals with NFL Offensive Player of the Year Todd Gurley, receiver Brandin Cooks and right tackle Rob Havenstein.

Donald, 27, has certainly made an impact on the defensive side of the ball for the Rams since he was drafted out of Pittsburgh in 2014. He held out through training camp last year and again this year, finally getting a new contract that will allow him to get back to work and allow his parents to retire.
