‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ Teaser: It’s The End Of The World As Worlds Collide In FX Anthology

Elsewhere, a terrified Constance Langdon hints that Jessica Lange's character might finally get her comeuppance.

We already know that Season 8 of FX's horror anthology will be an unholy mashup of Season 1's Murder House and Season 3's Coven, and the new teaser delivers on that promise, with a bunch of familiar faces popping up to say hi. After losing in the Seven Wonders to Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson), and thus failing to ascend as Supreme, Madison was strangled to death by Kyle Spencer (Evan Peters), her body presumably having been buried in an unknown location by Kyle and Spalding. In fact, Peters and Paulson will each play three characters in the upcoming crossover. In the beginning, we see Leslie Grossman (returning from the previous season), Peters, and series newcomer Joan Collins in some plane turbulence, before a few quick glimpses of various characters.

The young defender has started the season in fine form, lining up alongside Virgil van Dijk in the absence of Dejan Lovren. Always when they are on the ball they need to be at the top to find a solution against us.

The teaser trailer closes with Cordelia, Madison and Myrtle Snow (Frances Conroy) walking towards the camera. With only a week to go, find out more when American Horror Story: Apocalypse returns. While it doesn't give a lot away in terms of story, it does end with a close-up of AHS: Coven's Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts) staring into the camera while coyly teasing "I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me". Although Apocalypse is shrouded in the usual mystery of American Horror Story, the teaser gives a glimpse at what fans can expect from the September 12 premiere and beyond.
