A Star Wars VR Series is a three-parter, with the first episode debuting in 2019 for the Oculus Quest.

"Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series" and the Oculus Quest are both set to become available to consumers in the spring of 2019.

"Whether it's hearing Darth Vader's breathing behind you and physically turning to face him in person or wielding a lightsaber with your own hands, Vader Immortal captures the ultimate wish fulfillment", Oculus head of experience Colum Slevin said. Youll go inside Vaders fortress, first seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is set in the fiery wasteland the Sith Lord calls home. Fans got their first look at the first episode at Oculus Connect 5. And in 2016, ILMxLAB worked with The Void on Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire VR installations, available in select locations across the U.S. and Canada. Maybe Darth Vader's red helmet lenses will come up? "The experience is created to be 'immersive first, ' meaning that from its inception, this 3-part series has been conceived and executed specifically for the VR medium". "We're breaking new ground with this project that places you, the user, at the center of the story".

Seal slaps man in the face with an octopus
As the pair sat in a two-man kayak, a blazing blue sky above them, Mr Masuda noticed movement in the water below them. At the end of the clip, Mulinder can be heard letting out a defiant roar amid a raucous response from his peers.

The new virtual reality series will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the third and fourth episodes in the film franchise. That means the events inside this experience will be consequential - if only in a very tiny way.

"Our mission at ILMxLAB is to have fans "Step Inside Our Stories, ' and Vader Immortal represents a significant step forward in that ongoing quest", said ILMxLAB executive in charge Vicki Dobbs Beck". Vaders death is, of course, famous to fans all over the world – but theres still much to be told about his life.
