‘We thought about REMOVING Trump’ - White House official's STUNNING admission about coup

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday said he has "a pretty good idea who wrote" an anonymous bombshell New York Times op-ed that is highly critical of President TrumpDonald John TrumpNorth Korea to cooperate with USA in nuclear talks: report Nike to air Kaepernick ad during 'Thursday Night Football: report Brothel owner who won Nevada GOP primary being investigated over sexual assault allegations MORE.

A covert "resistance" operates against US President Donadl Trump from within his own White House, an official claims in a scathing op-ed. "The buck stops with the president, and we learned tonight that president, according to a senior official in his own administration is unfit to make those decisions".

While the term most frequently refers to holdovers from the Obama administration who are working behind the scenes to undermine President Donald Trump, this anonymous administration official claimed to want the administration to succeed - by restraining the president behind the scenes.

Staff actively worked to insulate themselves from Mr Trump's "impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective" leadership style, the writer said.

"Nobody has ever done in less than a two-year period what we've done", he said, discounting the source because the writer is anonymous.

The author pointed to Mr. Trump's actions on Russian Federation and President Vladimir Putin as an example of his advisers working against him.

The piece titled "I am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration", said that meetings with the president would "veer off topic and off the rails".

Sanders also says the Times should apologise for publishing it.

He said that if the piece actually was written by a top USA official, "they should not well have chosen to take a disgruntled, deceptive, bad actor's word for anything". The president has since attacked the "Failing New York Times" on his Twitter account.

Airport security screening trays have more germs than a toilet
Trays have a tendency to collect germs - whether in the airport or on the plane. This is because of the frequent cleaning.

Trump called Woodward's book "total fiction", and Defense Secretary James Mattis and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly have denied that they bashed the president.

The White House did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. "But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis", the op-ed reads.

In an editor's note, The Times says it knows the author's identity but agreed not to reveal it because the person's job would be jeopardized.

In the anonymous essay, the United States president is being painted as the enemy of the people who has little concerns for American values or Republican agenda.

"Nobody's going to come even close to beating me in 2020, because of what we've done", Trump said. We fully recognize what is happening.

So rather than risk the invocation of the Constitution's 25th Amendment, the prescribed route for removing a president, the writer boasts that 'we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until - one way or another - it's over'. "Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making", the author states. He is not putting country first, but putting himself and his ego ahead of the will of the American people.

Meanwhile, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders issued a statement calling the author a coward and demanding the person resign.

And they were published a day after the release of details from an explosive new book by longtime journalist Bob Woodward that laid bare concerns among the highest echelon of Trump aides about the president's judgment. "It's the work of the steady state".
