Washington DC Bus Attack Video

Police in Washington D.C. released dramatic video footage showing a woman bashing the windows of a Greyhound bus before running over the bus driver.

DC police released video of the incident, which they said happened at the intersection of Bladensburg Road, NE and New York Avenue, NE on Thursday at about 6 p.m. After the crash, the bus driver attempted to make contact with the woman and an argument ensued.

The bus driver told her, "You're a insane driver, you need to get off the road", the police report said. She then got a baseball bat from the trunk of her auto and hit the bus.

The bus driver tried to stand in front of her vehicle to prevent it from leaving the scene and was subsequently run over multiple times by the woman. He has bruises and scratches on his left elbow and pains on the left side of his hip. Anyone with information should call DC police. Police arrested Mariana Silver, 20, and charged her with assault with a unsafe weapon.

The bus was headed to Washington, DC from Pittsburgh.

J.R. Smith Turns Himself in to NYPD for Criminal Mischief
Smith will have to report to court for throwing the cell phone of a fan outside of a NY night club in July, TMZ reports . Smith, now 32 years of age, was issued a ticket for misdemeanor criminal mischief, according to ESPN's report.

Juan Blanco, 24, is the one who captured the incident on his cellphone about two minutes after the woman started attacking the bus with the hope of identifying her. The video has since been shared hundreds of thousands of times on Facebook.

They say she passed the bus illegally and because of that, her vehicle was hit by the bus.

"Road rage, like, just, I've never seen something like it", Blanco said.

The bus driver, not backing down, repeatedly jumped on her hood until she sped, the driver falling from the hood.

Police are still investigating the incident. Greyhound told FOX 5 the bus driver was able to complete his route to Union Station.
