Almirola came close time and again this year but fell short.

No matter its position on the schedule, Talladega Superspeedway has a way of shaking up the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. "He's like, 'You're going to win, I promise you". All that could prevent a Stewart-Haas runaway was a wreck, and while it wasn't quite the big one, it arrived with three laps to go and had serious consequences - particularly for Alex Bowman, already in dire need of a win. "Put yourself in position, and it will happen'".

The win was Almirola's first of 2018 and guarantees him a spot in the next round of the NASCAR playoffs. I love racing at Talladega, I came with a mindset of, "We're going to go race". "And if we win, we win".

The answer came back: Aric Almirola, the SHR driver who needed it the most.

The SHR Fords were untouchable all weekend. For the next 26 laps, they pulled away from the rest of the field. Busch ran out of fuel on the final lap and claimed 14th place.

First Busch's fuel light began to flicker. I could go for about three laps. "It's hard to save gas as the leader, and I was pulling out all the information that I could". He now has nine victories this season. It was the second Cup victory of his career. A week later, he got his checkered flag and his stamp into the round of eight into the playoffs.

"Four or five times this year I felt like we had a shot to win but haven't been able to seal the deal".

Bowyer finished second, congratulated his teammate and praised the SHR co-operation. I thought we saved enough. "Oh my gosh, was it awesome". They were the fastest cars in town. Harvick and Blaney had to go to pit road just as the overtime restart was getting underway, but the other three SHR cars still got off to a good launch. "It was pretty impressive to watch".

Samsung has snagged artificial intelligence and analytics startup Zhilabs to help grease its transition from 4G to 5G. Zhilabs, fully owned by Samsung, will operate independently under its own management led by Joan Raventós, CEO.

The four Ford teammates have worked together to stay at the front of the field and out of traffic during Sunday's race.

"Last week we didn't do a great job executing as a group", Zipadelli said. We tried a lot of stuff.

"I rode around all day broke, hanging on, miserable", he said after his finish. Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson and Alex Bowman are in danger of elimination following next week's race at Kansas Speedway. "An unfortunate end to the day". I'm just so happy and proud to be in those cars on a day like today.

The highest finishing round of 12 driver who does not now sit above the round of 8 cut line was Chip Ganassi Racing's Kyle Larson. He ran out of gas on the final lap, fell to 27th and now can be eliminated from the playoffs. The duo teamed for the formation of the No. 48 team in 2002 and won seven championships, 81 of 83 races and 11 Crown Jewel events.

"He was in there and he was kind of banzai, win at all costs, and just kept making moves that killed everybody else and didn't help himself", Keselowski said. "I don't know what they were doing". First, drivers were forced to burn fuel during a long cleanup period under caution before overtime. Had the yellow been called on that final lap, Busch probably would have won the race. The track was ready to go. So, it's a human call.

Here is the NASCAR Cup Series playoff picture with two races down and one race remaining in the round of 12. The (incident) on Saturday was in front of the field. we always want to try to end under green, but in that case we just felt like we couldn't.

Stewart-Haas' driver foursome of pole-sitter Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Bowyer and Almirola started the race in the top four spots. Harvick, Truex and Kyle Busch have combined to win the last five races at Kansas.
