Bills bench Peterman, tab veteran Anderson to start at QB vs. Colts

Elbow injury keeps Rookie Allen from facing Colts

At least for now.

An elbow injury is expected to keep Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen out in Week 7 and potentially beyond, which means Nathan Peterman will be in line to start against the Indianapolis Colts.

Anderson would become the third different starting quarterback the Bills have deployed this season.

There was an ESPN report on Tuesday that McDermott risked losing the Bills' locker room if he started Peterman. Anderson was Cam Newton's backup for several years, while McDermott was the Panthers' defensive coordinator and Beane a personnel executive. "I certainly trust and have a lot of respect for our locker room".

McDermott provided an update on Allen and said the quarterback has an elbow sprain.

Indian minister in #MeToo storm announces resignation
One of India's most prominent editors, Akbar has edited leading English language dailies The Telegraph and The Asian Age . At least one other anonymous account is believed to be about him. "These allegations are false, motivated and baseless".

No other specific information has been revealed, but the Bills do not want to rush him back, sources told Mortensen, to allow him to properly heal despite his competitive desire to play at less than full strength.

While McDermott has publicly been fairly supportive of Peterman, a fifth-round pick in 2017, the performance just isn't there.

Buffalo signed Anderson last week and according to the Democrat & Chronicles' Steve Bradley, he was brought on to serve as a mentor for Allen. Infamously known for becoming the first National Football League player to throw five interceptions in his first start (accomplishing that rare feat in just two quarters last season against the Los Angeles Chargers), he has added four more picks in two appearances this season; two of those interceptions came Sunday after he replaced Allen in the third quarter, and one of them was returned for a Texans touchdown.

Peterman now has 10 interceptions on 82 career pass attempts for an interception rate of 12.2 percent.
