Diablo III cross-play in the works says Blizzard

In Diablo 3 we have a more feminine Lord of Terror, but these items show a Diablo that goes back to the game's roots.

We really hope that we can get some more clarity on this during BlizzCon 2018 as we have some really high expectations with Blizzard and the Diablo franchise itself. After all, the merch isn't being called Diablo 4 in the store, so anything is possible at this point.

Adam Bankhurst is a news writer for IGN who can't wait for Diablo III on the Switch and would be up for Diablo IV: Reign of Terror, if that's what it ends up being.

What should we expect from this year's BlizzCon?

Oil prices hold ground, but set for 4 pct weekly fall
At 410.0 million barrels, the figure is at the five year average for this time of year. A drop in United States oil production also lent prices some support.

Blizzcon is coming up in a month's time but it looks like two pieces of interesting Diablo-related information have made it out ahead of time.

In a Facebook video posted on August 8th, community manager Brandy Camel revealed that Blizzard was working on new Diablo games.

When asked about Diablo III cross-play and whether multiple platforms could eventually play together, a possibly positive response was issued.

Blizzard is looking to add cross-play to its upcoming Nintendo Switch port of Diablo 3, which is great news for anyone looking to be able to play with friends on other platforms. The game launches for the Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, 2018, so it would be a good time to announce this feature, along with a new game. Although it hasn't officially been confirmed as a feature just yet, the Blizzard Entertainment rep stated, "It's a question of when, not if", when it comes to cross-play for Diablo 3's myriad versions. This has led some fans to believe that the new game in the series could be revealed at this year's event, with the title being the Reign of Terror.
