With expectations raised No. 14 Florida must avoid letdown at Vanderbilt

Now at 6-1, Mullen has taken care of business so far in his first season as the Gators' head coach. "We had a lot of mistakes early on in the game". We've won games making big, explosive plays ... "He's doing an awesome job here: You just look at what he's been able to accomplish going to bowl games, coaching this team, how they play, how they compete".

It was a different story Saturday after things went south in the first half. Unlike in the first two quarters, Florida not only moved the ball well but they took their chances.

The redshirt sophomore had his pass tipped at the line and intercepted by Vanderbilt cornerback Joejuan Williams. Vandy kicker Ryley Guay missed a 25-yard field goal, then, Florida punter Johnny Townsend surprised the Commodores on an 18-yard run on fourth-and-3, setting up a 37-yard touchdown pass from Franks to wide receiver Van Jefferson, a Nashville-area native.

Vanderbilt turned three turnovers into 17 points, and the Commodores also sacked Feleipe Franks twice and stripped him of the ball once.

The argument came after this block on a punt return by Florida's James Houston that was ruled targeting. Commodores' head coach Derek Mason got into a bit of a shouting match with Gators' Dan Mullen and another coach on the sideline.

The Gators did respond well in the second half.

The Department of Justice has approved the merger of CVS and Aetna
Additionally, the DOJ has informed Aetna that it must enable WellCare to hire employees who are employed by this division. Humana Inc., whose deal to merge with Aetna was blocked on antitrust grounds past year , is another potential deal-maker.

It came on the first play of the fourth quarter when the Gators trailed by one.

The following possession running back Jordan Scarlett busted through the Commodore defense for a 48-yard touchdown run to give Florida its first lead of the game.

With the comeback, Florida won its fifth straight this season. Because the parity is right there.I would say in this league, it's not about the one game. "The way they run downhill and power and all that kind of stuff".

After falling behind 21-3 to Vanderbilt midway through the second quarter Saturday, there was no panic on the Florida sideline.

"The team learned from our one loss this year", Mullen said. "Everyone just believing in me, they've always got my back, like 'Come on, we've still got this.' Stuff like that helped us come back and keep the momentum on our side when it really wasn't". Don't try to cowboy and do your own thing.

Next thing we know we'll see an RKO on the field. "And we did enough of that in the second half to win".
