Friends of the library book sale, November 7 | The Healdsburg Tribune



The Friends of the Salina Public Library will have its Fall Book Sale from 9 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the library's Prescott Room, 301 W. Elm.

Roslin Thompson from the library tells KNIA/KRLS News the sale is important to their operations.

One daughter and father pair of book collector traveled from out of state to come to the sale.

Friday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Most have been donated by library patrons and community members and are in very good to almost new condition.

Good literature to be found at the annual book sale.

Hayward is getting the night off for the second game of a back-to-back as he continues his comeback from last season's left ankle injury.

The sale features paperbacks for 50 cents. Music CDs cost $1 each and DVDs cost $2. There also will be some specially priced books.

FOL members will have first pick of the books for sale from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, October 25. Encyclopedias, textbooks, LPs and videotapes are not accepted.

"We have way too many books, we're running out of room", Sharleen said.

The Friends of the Brighton District library is a nonprofit organization that works to strengthen and support program and services.
