Higuain: Juve forced me out to make way for Ronaldo

Higuain, in two seasons with the club, won two Serie A and Coppa Italia doubles.

Cristiano Ronaldo managed to get on the score-sheet once again, but Juventus saw their ideal start to the Serie A season come to an end on Saturday evening.

Ronaldo has been instrumental in Juventus' fantastic run and has scored four times in eight domestic games so far this season, keeping the Old Lady six points clear of Napoli in second.

Higuain, in an interview published on Thursday, said he felt something was amiss when he was left on the bench for the Coppa Italia final against AC Milan in May. "Moments like these are unsafe because when you are on a run of 10 straight wins, then you start to believe (that you can win them all)", he said.

"Maybe I knew something had broken, and then they took Ronaldo".

"It wasn't my decision to leave".

Both Machado and Aguilar said after the game that they had no quarrel with each other, and Aguilar said Machado apologized to him. Brewers players were quick to defend Aguilar - and point fingers at Machado.

Milan beat off competition from Chelsea, now managed by Higuain's former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri, who wanted to bring him to London, but it was a feeling not reciprocated by the powers that be at Stamford Bridge.

"He's very calm and working well, and I'm not the one to respond to things that don't concern me because they are personal", Allegri said at a news conference on Friday. I gave everything for Juventus, I won several titles, after which Cristiano arrived. "The best solution was Milan".

"But I did not ask to leave. Basically, everyone says it, they sent me away".

"Milan have given me something more after a World Cup which wasn't great", he said.

The 23-year-old Poland striker had scored 13 goals in his first eight games. I have nothing negative to say about the Napoli fans, those were three lovely years. "I feel rejuvenated. I love Gattuso - he looks at you and sends you his love for football".
