Klay Thompson Sets New NBA Record with 14 Three-Pointers

The oft forgotten Klay Thompson showed up against the Chicago Bulls on Monday and reminded the league that he still remains one its best shooters dropping a record setting 14 three-pointers in route to 52 points.

Curry hit 13 3-pointers against New Orleans on November 11, 2016.

The 28-year-old sharpshooter connected on 10 triples in the first half before adding five more in the third quarter.

Trump Says Pittsburgh Synagogue Should’ve Had Armed Guards
Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, he said of the lack of an armed guard: "They didn't have any protection". Three officers have been shot, but police provided no further details, as they are still clearing the Synagogue.

Thompson had struggled a little bit this season, so this explosion was due in some sense, though nobody could've predicted an onslaught quite this insane. He entered the game averaging 15.1 points in seven games while shooting just 13.9 percent from 3-point range.

Curry, who has yet to score fewer than 29 points in a game this season, finished with 35 points and seven rebounds. It was Thompson's third career 50-point game. He scored 36 in the first half, leading Golden State to the second-most first-half points in National Basketball Association history.
