2018 Mercedes Benz C Class Cabriolet Facelift

Mercedes-Benz India had launched the 2018 C-Class Facelift in India barely a month ago and now, the German luxury vehicle manufacturer has launched the 2018 C-Class Cabriolet in the country as well.Having a new model make its market debut on a show along with the price announcement, is a first for Mercedes-Benz.

2018 Mercedes Benz C-Class open top luxury sedan further extends the C-Class range with open top motoring is presented in two new metallic paint finishes of Mojave Silver and Selenite Grey beside one special paint Designo Selenite Grey Magno.

Exterior changes mirror those seen on the C-class sedan, so you now get LED headlights and tail-lights, a redesigned front bumper, new designs for the 17-inch alloy wheels and three new paint options. The C-Class Cabriolet also gets a new and updated infotainment system with a 10.25-inch HD screen along with updated COMAND system that offers smartphone integration. The company has introduced a completely new BS VI petrol engine.

Tourists stuck as floods hit Venice
Speaking on Monday, Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro said a series of underwater barriers would have prevented the rising water levels. Yesterday marathon runners were forced to wade through ankle-deep water in Venice after high tides flooded the city yesterday.

The 2018 Mercedes C300 Cabrilet comes equipped with the AIRCAP system that noticeably reduces the airflow in the interior. The styling is enhanced by the sporty bumper and diamond grille with the Mercedes star sitting in the centre.

The state of the art interiors are seen in Magma Grey leather and two new trims of Anthracite wood oak grey and open pore walnut wood. The vehicle comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-pod instrument cluster. It now gets a BS-VI-compliant, 2.0-litre petrol engine making 258hp (13hp more than before) and 370Nm of torque, which is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The auto has a claimed top speed of 250 km/h and will reach 100 km/h from standstill in 6.2 seconds. This new Cabriolet is Mercedes Benz India's 11th product launch this year. Prices for the convertible start at Rs. 65.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
