Tanushree Dutta row: Raj Thackeray responds on Nana Patekar sexual harassment row; calls him 'crazy, indecent'

Now, according to the latest development Alok Nath who had earlier ignored CINTAA's notice which was sent to him a few days before had now responded to them and had asked the body not to expel him till court orders.

"The false allegations have immensely affected his reputation beyond fix and your organisation (CINTAA) should not entertain such groundless accusations particularly when such allegations are levelled after nearly a decade", it said.

The "Me Too" movement gained momentum in India after Dutta came forward and took a stand against Nata Patekar.

"It is reported that Nana Patekar has planned to take legal action against Tanushree Dutta for defamation and stated that the allegations levelled against him are baseless and false". The response states that Tanushree's accusations are bordering on mental harassment.

Tanushree has alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of "Horn Ok Pleasss" in 2008 while shooting for a special dance number for the movie, and filed an FIR against the "Welcome" star.

The "Dhol" actor had also claimed that MNS party workers were involved in the attack on her vehicle after she opted out of the 2008 film "Horn OK Pleassss" after allegedly being harassed by Patekar. Even though many from the industry have come out in public and spoken against the predators, looks like MNS chief Raj Thackeray has a different opinion. He said that while Nana was "indecent and crazy", he would not do such things. What is media to do with it? We will teach a lesson to accused.

While speaking at event in Amaravati, Raj said that "It seems it's being done to divert attention from petrol price, rupee value and unemployment".

Stating that Dutta had filed her complaint ten years after the incident had happened, Thackeray said that while women could approach the MNS in instance of any oppression, they should not do so "after ten years".
