At this point, seeing that Sean Bean has been cast in a role has become somewhat of a running joke, as his frequency of being killed off has taken on a life of its own.

"We are very proud to partner with the talented Sean Bean on the first Elusive Target mission in Hitman 2", added Hakan Abrak, Studio Head, IO Interactive.

The first Elusive Target mission is called The Undying and it will make its grand debut on November 20.

Sean Bean dies in nearly every role he takes on, and Hitman 2 will be no exception.

Bills name Derek Anderson starter at QB for Sunday
With the 2-4 Bills heading to Indianapolis to face the 1-5 Colts, tickets aren't exactly flying off the shelf. Sunday's contest against the Colts will mark Anderson's first start since the 2016 season.

In case you've recently emigrated here from the Andromeda galaxy, let me catch you up: Sean Bean is an actor notorious for dying dramatically in a disproportionate number of films and shows he's appeared in. I'm nearly positive his Bond villain is the only one to be killed off a few times with the exception of Blofeld. "It's always exciting to take on a new role, and I look forward to seeing my character in action when the Elusive Target mission launches". The announcement reads like one long love letter/in-joke about his cinematic career. And as the man who dies is nearly everything he stars in, it makes flawless sense that Agent 47 off him too.

I probably will anyway, though. Hitman 2 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13th. From sun-drenched streets to dark and unsafe rainforests, nowhere is safe from the world's most creative assassin, Agent 47.

This won't be the first time that a prominent actor has featured in a Hitman game, with both Gary Busey and Gary Cole sharing co-star duties as a Elusive Targets in the previous, episodic entry in the series.
