Report: Steelers still haven't heard from Bell

Bell can return any time between Monday and the following Monday, Oct. 22 to be eligible to play on October 28 in their rematch against the Browns. Here's the latest on the status of the Steelers' star running back.

The Pittsburgh Steelers enter their 2018 bye week with a 3-2-1 record and, all things considered, that performance should be seen as a success.

National Football League insider Adam Schefter has a major update on Bell this morning, claiming that the Steelers have yet to hear from him.

If you're breathlessly hoping for Le'Veon Bell to magically appear in a Steelers uniform - keep waiting.

Ramsey could also negotiate with a foreign team from January, with Juventus reportedly interested. Granit Xhaka says he can feel the benefits of working with Arsenal manager Unai Emery .

Bell has apparently been keeping the Steelers in the dark. Bell was negotiating for a long-term contract worth much more money, but talks fell apart and the talented running back has not reported to practice all season.

Bell's window to return to the team and still earn a full season continues to shrink but coming back in Week Seven gives him plenty of time.

Bell told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler earlier this month that he meant to report to the Steelers during the Week 7-8 timeframe.

The Steelers, meanwhile, are getting ready for a game today.
