Ubisoft Cancels Assassin's Creed Odyssey's First In-Game Live Event

Assassin's Creed® Odyssey

Assassin's Creed® Odyssey

If Assassin's Creed Odyssey has you in front of the couch for too many hours, the great news is you will soon be able to assassinate on the go thanks to Assassin's Creed Rebellion. It's still unclear what the exact reason might be to lead to the event being cancelled, but Ubisoft will be adding a new epic ship into the game come 23rd October so it's not all doom and gloom. Players logged in to the game yesterday to be told that "Damais the Indifferent" was roaming Greece and needed to be taken down, but despite plenty of searching, Damais was nowhere to be found. These events will be accessible to players who are at level 30 or higher and reward players with experience and epic/legendary rewards.

Speaking with Kotaku, Ubisoft confirmed that this was due to a technical issue that the production team is now investigating. The first event, which was expected to go live this week, would have allowed players to engage in rare quests and battles for exclusive loot. A blue Orichalcum emblem will be highlighted next to the quest name.

Donald Trump Tweets "MANY CRIMINALS" On Way To Border, Blames Democrats
In a series of tweets Thursday morning, Trump also blamed Democrats for the "assault on our country" by illegal immigration . The president tweeted Wednesday about the caravan again, this time tying it to Democrats and the midterm elections.

Like events in other Ubisoft games, such as Far Cry 5, events are timed and will rotate back again. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One. They should keep their eyes glued to the Aegean Sea as an Epic Ship will be out there sailing around.
