Asus ZenFone 6 leak shows the most peculiar notch we've ever seen

A bunch of leaked photos on an Italian blog site HDBlog.it shows a prototype ASUS smartphone claimed to be the Zenfone 6. However, unlike those phones, this prototype is sporting the notch towards the right corner of the display. The frame seems to be made out of stainless steel, which could be the first for an ASUS smartphone.

We also see a small black particle below the dual cameras which might be a weird fingerprint scanner but could also be the PDAF sensor, while the reader could go under the display. Speaking of which, the phone will feature two vertically-aligned cameras on the back if this leak is to be believed.

The phone's power / lock and volume up and down buttons will be placed on the right, while its SIM card tray will probably sit on the left, though we don't really get to see the left side of the phone properly in these images or video, so we can not say for sure, it's possible that ASUS will implement the SIM card tray on the top as well, we'll see. Is this a trend you'd like to see more of? However, the battery meter sits in the small corner between the notch and the bezel. A few alleged photos and a purported hands-on video of the ZenFone 6 (2019) show an offset display notch to overcome the requirement of the traditional notch design. This means that it is either embedded in the display or under the rear camera element. On the rear, the ZenFone 6 leak reveals a dual rear-facing camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

Dolphins S Jones removed himself from win over Jets
It will be interesting to see if Jones is back in the Dolphins secondary next week against the Packers in Green Bay. The Dolphins picked off Jets quarterback Sam Darnold four times and tallied four sacks in the win.

The ZenFone 6 will likely be a pretty typical mid-range Android phone whenever it's released, but it'll be interesting to hear Asus's reasoning for this notch placement.

While we can't be sure this is the final design, it's certainly a thing - and it even has a headphone jack.
