Faf du Plessis of South Africa looks on during a South Africa ODI training session press conference at Park 25

A record-breaking partnership and centuries to Faf du Plessis and David Miller have propelled South Africa to an imposing 320-5 in Sunday's one-day series decider against Australia in Hobart.

But Miller and Du Plessis stemmed the tide and once settled began an impressive fightback to which Australia's bowlers had no answer.

The visitors were precariously placed at 55/3 after 15.3 overs when Miller joined his skipper Du Plessis at the crease.

The pair's stand of 252 was the biggest ODI partnership against Australia.

It was the highest ever ODI partnership against Australia, surpassing the 237 between Sri Lankan pair Marvan Atapattu and Sanath Jayasuriya at the SCG in 2003.

Ranveer Singh to move in with Deepika Padukone post marriage
The couple was spotted at Mumbai airport, twinning in white and making everyone go "awww" over their glowing faces. In a Twitter post shared by Deepika Padukone , the wedding celebrations will take place on November 14 and 15.

Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey dropped du Plessis on 29 off the bowling of Glenn Maxwell in what should have been a regulation caught behind. Ball-tracking was to show the ball hitting in line but bouncing fractionally over the leg stump, meaning a reprieve on 41 for Miller, and more than a few befuddled Australian faces.

On a fine, cool afternoon, there was a modicum of early assistance in the pitch for Australia's pacemen with the new ball, something Starc exploited to perfection with a delivery seaming away just enough to take the outside edge of Quinton de Kock's bat.

Du Plessis eventually fell in the 49th over for 125 (114b 15x4 2x6), caught at deep point by Shaun Marsh off Marcus Stoinis.

Mitchell Starc celebrates after taking the wicket of Aiden Markram. There was controversy surrounding the call due to Du Plessis requesting the review, and not Miller himself initially.
